Natural Resources Conservation Agent (BKSDA) of Southeast Sulawesi mentioned, the result of their investigation in 2014 showed that there is a mining company which is indicated using a protected forest area in North Konawe. However, the BKSDA reluctant to mention the name of the company in question. Even so, this company has broke the Act number 41 of 1999 on forestry.
