Mt. Kelud’s Danger Status Lowered

The Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation Agency (PVMBG) in Bandung had lowered the status of Mount Kelud from ‘Alert’ to ‘Caution’. “Starting from 16:30 pm, Mt. Biosphere Reserve Forests in Riau Endangered

Another Elephant Down in Riau

Another Sumatran Elephant (Elephas maximus sumatranus) was found dead in Riau. The 30-year-old giant animal was found by the residents of Tasik Serai Village, Bengkalis Regency in the concession area of industrial forest of PT Arara Abadi.
